Wed, 3 September 2008 Okay I think I finally figured this one out there was a lot of confusion but we are back on track. This and the title may be the only way to get some sort of attention... Comments[0] |

Wed, 30 April 2008 Here we are Horace Mann singing Prepare Ye The Way Of The Lord. Than the Denver City Wide Choir with Jill Sobule on Bass Guitar and Jill Fredricksen on drums, followed by Lucretia Macevil. It's funny how young these performers are and what little they understand with some of these songs... Comments[0] |

Tue, 4 March 2008 I have nothing to say about this noise other than I think that Britney Spears is going insane. I'm just putting it out there. Thats all I'm saying. Comments[0] |
Tue, 19 February 2008 What in the world?! There is a barrier between all of us. The emotional callousness deepens. It can be sad really. I don't think that is what I think this post is all about though. It's about my need to pull it all together. Just for the fun of it. Comments[0] |
Fri, 28 December 2007 Let's roar into the new year with a little Wagner! Played by the brave and stout Nebraska High School State Clinic Band. There is also an acid drop, war dance and then a wonderful leap into the new year! Comments[0] |

Sun, 14 October 2007 This is the reason for this cast. First we hear the intro.. I'm not sure what it means. Going blind here. Second it's the Euclid Jr. High School Stage Band in 1968 playing the theme from "A Summer Place". The remix then an original from the mid 90's.. Trombone quartet all improv... Then in an incoherent conclusion we feel Dry Heat Merisa Bissinger on flute, uke. Rick Benjamin-Tebelau on drum, uke... Goodbye ol' Summer.... Comments[0] |
Mon, 24 September 2007 The Carly Simon hit sung by the Viking Singers from Oberon Jr. High in 1976. Comments[0] |
Mon, 27 August 2007 The first chapter is Captain & Tennille's "Love Will Keep Us Together" played with enthusiasm by the Oberon Junior High Stage Band in 1976.
The bridge reminds me of a 70's era detective show music, like the
themes of Cannon or Barnaby Jones. This song was a world wide hit the
year before and the kids know this song and they like this arrangement.
This is public school arts and music at its best! Next we have "Zen project #1". More 3 Voices fun, you will find a video of it here on YouTube. And an improved arrangement of "Georgy Girl" and that will be it for that. Comments[2] |
Tue, 3 July 2007 1. Last splendor jam. 2. R. Benjamin-Tebelau on trombone. 3. Merisa Bissinger on flute. Comments[0] |

Tue, 15 May 2007 Two for one. The first is "Love is a Many Splendored Thing" unknown choir. Next "Scaramouch, Symphony No. 3" played by the Longmont High School Bands 76-77. It's been so long, I know. Sorry to all one or two of you! HA! Well here it is a performance by two very different groups. The photo is by Lauri Lynnxe Murphy Comments[1] |
Sun, 7 January 2007 First, I'd like to apologize for not posting in awhile. Events over took me. I'm still here. I have here four groups. 'The Morning After' sung by the Viking Singers of Oberon Junior High School, 'American Jazz Mass' the Elgin High School Sr. A Capella Choir. 'Pink Panther' by Euclid Junior High Band. 'Milestones' Green Mtn. High Jazz Band Spectrum. This is a New Year blow out. Comments[0] |
Mon, 6 November 2006 From St. Augustine's Prayer Book, the first prayer is read. The Elgin High School Senior A Cappella Choir, directed by Charles H. Beckman will present from their album "European Tour-April 1971" the selection "American Jazz Mass Kyrie-Gloria-Sanctus and Benedictus" acc by jazz combo: tpt: Jeff Taylor, alto sax: George Schneider, bari sax: Richard Robertson, bs: Cris Gudeman, drums: Mike Miqueion. The choir will end abruptly, the prayer will return "corrected". It's strange how the choir ends. At least it's at a phrase ending. Comments[0] |
Tue, 24 October 2006 I'm a week behind! That means double duty at the Fortress... Imagine a choir after the storm! Oberon Junior High School. The Viking Singers. Comments[0] |
Sun, 3 September 2006 Yes... Yes it's crazy I know. It'll make sense to you when you just think about how slow things get and the word is always: yes. Comments[0] |
