milestones (redux)

I'm going to do something a little different this time I'm going to play you some things from my record collection. I collect public school records from different groups on vinyl, 50's, 60's, 70's and sometime stuff from the 80's. I also like getting self produced recordings from people like a local band or even a guy whom played a piano bar in Chicago. Things like that. The first recording I'm going to play for you is the 1987 Green Mountain H.S. Jazz Ensemble "Spectrum" and they will be playing Miles Davis' "Milestones". The recording for the time is excellent. The trumpet solo is a little tentative, but the drummer is a wild kid...... Kinda.
